Puppy training and guidance is for new puppy owners that need assistance and advice at home on how to correctly raise their puppy and start his/her training, ensuring their puppy grows into a well behaved and socially acceptable dog. It is important that owners understand how to be their pup's leader as soon as possible.

During the consultation I devise a training and behaviour modification program for you, and discuss with you the psychology and instincts of your puppy so you understand your pup better, and why pups do what they do. This also ensures your pup is better able to relate to you. Remember the first 16 weeks of your puppies life are the most important. And the way you raise your puppy during this period will affect your pup for the rest of his/her life. So get your puppy off to the right start from the begining, and imprint your puppy at an early age with socially accepted behaviour.

1 hour follow-up visit 2 weeks later, or when you wish to use it.

During this intial vist I focus on:

• Discuss with you the psychology of your pup, and why its important that your pup see and acknowledges you as its pack leader.
• Why it is important to set your rules early in your pups life
• Blocking & Claiming Space, and why it is important for establishing pack leadership
• Understand canine and human body language, and projection of calm assertive energy.
• Why you should not allow your pup to assert itself over you or family members. How to recognise when this is happening, and how to teach your pup to stop doing this using calm non harsh methods.
• Why crate training can be very beneficial
• Toilet training
• Basic commands
• Biting/Mouthing
• Jumping
• Waiting for food
• Not snaping
• and all other behaviour and training problems you may face

Also includes online support in our client area for 12 months

Total fee: $240.00 includes initial 2 hour consultation + 1 hour follow-up (extra follow-up visits $90.00 per hour)
