 Board & Train for obedience

There will be no Board & Train carried out from 22 December 2009 to 14 January 2010. The last date a booking can commence is on the 8 December 2009.

There is only limited space, so book early. I will only take a maximum of 3 dogs per 2 week course.

Board & Train at the Doggy Lodge Boarding Kennels. Board and Train focuses on your dogs general obedience, and will be taught the following commands:

• Walk on lead correctly
• Sit on commamd
• Drop/down on command
• Stay in both the sit and drop command
• Recall from the stay
• and overall general obedience

Please note - This course is not for behavioural problems. It is only a basic obedience course to train your dog the basics.

Not all dogs achieve the same standard. The minimum standard your dog will achieve is to walk correctly on lead, sit on command, drop on command and stay on command from a distance up to 3 metres, and recall from the stay. This is not an advanced obedience course.

Dogs in for Board & Train must be fully vaccinated.

Fee includes:

• Full board & feeding at the Doggy Lodge Boarding Kennels for 2 weeks
• 2 weeks obedience training
• Handover lesson at the completion of training
• 12 months access to my Sunday Group Socialisation Class.

Training is carried out at the kennels, in the street and a local park near the kennels. I train your dog in real life situations, not just a sterile training ground.
