Axel (longhaired & very cute German Shepherd) and I met Mark earlier this year. We have completed 5 private lessons and now go to the weekly socialisation class.
Axel is nine months old; he has loads of energy as well as a gregarious personality. Before we met Mark, I could not walk Axel without being pulled around; he would bark at other dogs (and people), chew on my fingers when he wanted his own way, and generally try pushing me around. And the cats…. I won’t go there!!!!
After one lesson, I could walk Axel and enjoy it. Now our 10-minute walk has progressed into a 1-hour walk that’s an absolute pleasure.
The reality is Axel is a great dog. I have learnt that his behaviour issues were due to my lack of knowledge. I spent 2 months at Dog Obedience School with poor results. The five lessons with Mark have been tremendous; he has trained me how to control my dog. The Saturday class gives Axel the chance to meet other dogs and behave appropriately and gives me the chance to meet other passionate dog owners who have well behaved dogs!!
Thanks Mark – you’re a legend!

Since we've been attending weekly dog obedience training with our Golden Retriever, there has been an overall improvement in his behaviour and obedience both off and on the lead. Prior to taking our Golden Retriever, Zeplin to training he was rather dominant and difficult to control on the lead. Through Mark Singer's dog handling skills and advice we have gained greater control of Zeplin and therefore greater enjoyment.
We would highly recommend if you have a dog with any behavioural and or obedience problems to come along to the training sessions held by Mark Singer. Within time you will definitely see an improvement in your dog's behaviour.
Many thanks

Mark Singer is truly a passionate dog trainer. He goes out of his way to solve your problems, and explains to you the reasons why dogs behave the way they do.
Oscar has been going to the group training sessions on Saturday mornings, and has improved his training 200%. After having been through the "production line" training classes, I felt it was necessary to dedicate more time and attention to the dog during the training. That's when I started with Mark.
Groups are a maximum of 8, so you really get personal training, and Mark is really able to give time to everybody.

Dear Mark
I am writing to thank you for the advice you gave me a couple of weeks ago about my new, very naughty, dominating and very jealous 4-months-old black Schnauzer puppy, Diesel.
After ringing vets, dog behavioural specialists, and taking him to puppy preschool and speaking to the breeder, I finally turned to you as my last resort as nobody could help me with my specific problems with him.
Although he is not 100% he's getting better with me being vigilant with your advice and methods of correcting him.
Your knowledge and insight was invaluable in saving me from taking my dog back to the breeder or advertising him.
Thanks a million and best of luck in the dog-training world
Kindest regards
Miss Suzanne C. |

We would recommend the training course to anyone with a dog.
Our Rottweiler, Bronson, was a very large dog with an attitude. He thought he was the top dog and we were way down the bottom of the pack. After 2 weeks of training, Bronson came home a very well trained and behaved dog without the attitude.
Should we ever get another dog we will be sending him to Mark to be trained.

We met Mark about a year ago - in early 2002 - following up a "dog training" advertisement in our local paper. At that time, our little Doberman boy, called Petko, was 8 months old, extremely active and extremely in control - obedient only when it suited him (which was not too often).
Mark conducted 3 home classes with Petko (and with us) in a period of few weeks. Soon after the first class, which was a real struggle for all of us, Petko became a well-behaved dog (still extremely active) - a real fun to own it.
This remarkable result was due to Mark's great experience, passion for his work and, most importantly, love of dogs. During the classes Mark trained Petko but at the same time explained to us the reasons behind particular training/handling techniques - mostly to do with dogs behaviour and their way of thinking - this enabled us to train Petko ourselves between the classes.
Since then, Petko visits Mark at the kennel every couple of months for 30 mins classes to further enhance his skills and of course to see say hello to his old friend.
We are very satisfied with Mark and highly recommend his services.
