Firstly, I would like to take the opportunity to personally thank you for coming in to our home on Saturday.

It was truly refreshing and encouraging to see you work with Juno and Titus, and for us to see that with the correct techniques and calm attitude that they are in fact a joy. Your method of educating us as dog owners in order to help them makes complete sense.

No other “Professional” dog trainer/behaviourist has been able to successfully work with and correct both of our dogs before. We have been given all manner of conflicting – and in some cases traumatic – advice with regards to our dogs. Some have berated us for getting two sibling pups from the same litter and called it irresponsible. The same people said that they were un-trainable and would always give us problems. One went so far as to say, we should re-home one of our dogs because it was too hard. These were all people who were meant to be experts on our breed. Just goes to show, you can own one and carry the name “Trainer” and still have no idea when it comes to Understanding them.

You, without doubt, deserve the name Trainer and behaviourist.

You have given us the tools and renewed confidence to go out and enjoy our dogs again. That alone is a gift that we are very grateful for.

Hi Mark, Just wanted to say a big thankyou for your work with Mika, we have had a busy time since being back and hadn't walked Mika for a week, I took her the other day and she was absolutely fabulous, she is like a new dog, when I went to moms or other peoples homes normally she dominates me and is all over me to go home, she now drops instantly and lies patiently, not once has she mouthed and or put her paws to us. My father and his wife and two other friends stayed with us over the weekend, she didn't run and jump over them, she calmly walked to them, they couldn't believe how well trained she was. She is very calm now even when walking. I was talking to a chap visiting my hairdresser, he has two shepherds, a 3 year old and a pup and I was telling him of all your good work, he is going to look you up, his dog is not so good on the lead. He was so impressed with Mika as she sat and obeyed me at every command, he said she was so relaxed. I don't know how you did it but keep up the good work, Rev and I cant thankyou enough for our beautiful dog whom is now more relaxed. We are implementing everything you taught us and will come for Sunday park training albeit it wont be for awhile due to commitments. Thank you for all your excellent work, your the best.

Hi Mark

Donna and I would like to thank you for the help you have given us with Scooby & Anikan. We have seen a significant improvement in Scooby's behaviour and demeanour since your home visit 2 weeks ago. The barking has stopped and the day after you were here, Scooby initiated a game of fetch with a ball which he has not done for years.

We are continuing with your advice and we hope that we can have a more harmonious home with no more disturbances for the neighbours.

Hi Mark, Just a quick follow up to let you know that Ruby (and Angus) are doing very well, after the time you spent with us we have maintained the discipline shown by you. Ruby has only the occasional jump, she is starting to leave things alone, she sits without an issue and as unlike our past staffy pups she is very calm she has been an absolute pleasure. She and Angus spend most of the day together, Angus does need a bit of a rest at times, I think that is a bit of age. The kids, especially Megan loves her time with her again, thank goodness, Angus has stopped snapping for his treats which is fantastic. Mark, I am learning that discipline is a good thing for dogs and they have rules to abide to. It is a pleasure to spend time with Ruby, I have never relaxed and enjoyed puppy training like this, nor have I felt trust and bonding at such an early stage (toilet, destruction ect). I thank you for the experience and look forward to Ruby's future classes.

It has been well over a year since you visited us and I just wanted to say a big , belated thankyou - after having concerns about whether we could keep our new puppy - the dogs are now the best of friends which is a huge relief. They are also walking much better and we are much more relaxed and confident in our interactions with them, allowing us to really enjoy them.

Axel (longhaired & very cute German Shepherd) and I met Mark earlier this year. We have completed 5 private lessons and now go to the weekly socialisation class.

Axel is nine months old; he has loads of energy as well as a gregarious personality. Before we met Mark, I could not walk Axel without being pulled around; he would bark at other dogs (and people), chew on my fingers when he wanted his own way, and generally try pushing me around. And the cats….  I won’t go there!!!!

After one lesson, I could walk Axel and enjoy it. Now our 10-minute walk has progressed into a 1-hour walk that’s an absolute pleasure.

The reality is Axel is a great dog. I have learnt that his behaviour issues were due to my lack of knowledge. I spent 2 months at Dog Obedience School with poor results. The five lessons with Mark have been tremendous; he has trained me how to control my dog. The Saturday class gives Axel the chance to meet other dogs and behave appropriately and gives me the chance to meet other passionate dog owners who have well behaved dogs!!

I am writing to thank you for the advice you gave me a couple of weeks ago about my new, very naughty, dominating and very jealous 4-months-old black Schnauzer puppy, Diesel.

After ringing vets, dog behavioural specialists, and taking him to puppy preschool and speaking to the breeder, I finally turned to you as my last resort as nobody could help me with my specific problems with him.

Although he is not 100% he's getting better with me being vigilant with your advice and methods of correcting him.

Your knowledge and insight was invaluable in saving me from taking my dog back to the breeder or advertising him.

We would recommend the training course to anyone with a dog.

Our Rottweiler, Bronson, was a very large dog with an attitude. He thought he was the top dog and we were way down the bottom of the pack. After 2 weeks of training, Bronson came home a very well trained and behaved dog without the attitude.

Should we ever get another dog we will be sending him to Mark to be trained.

This remarkable result was due to Mark's great experience, passion for his work and, most importantly, love of dogs. During the classes Mark trained Petko but at the same time explained to us the reasons behind particular training/handling techniques - mostly to do with dogs behaviour and their way of thinking - this enabled us to train Petko ourselves between the classes.

Since then, Petko visits Mark at the kennel every couple of months for 30 mins classes to further enhance his skills and of course to see say hello to his old friend.

We are very satisfied with Mark and highly recommend his services.
